I’ve met many people who’ve visited Daytona. Usually, they envision race cars, Bike Week, or surfing. Yet, little do they know, the area also offers lots of opportunities for sport fishing.
Daytona Beach is full of sport fish. Anglers can find a large variety of them here. I live next to Ponce Inlet, which is about 10 miles south of Daytona. I’ve fished this region for a number of years and know where to find the biggest trophy fish. My clients and I have caught plenty of fish, including redfish, tarpon, snook and cobia. Of course, the area is recognized for its sharks as well. It’s an ideal location for anyone looking to experience shark fishing. Surfers, however, may want to think twice! If you visit when the water temperature is over 79, you can see for yourself the number of sharks that inhabit these waters. Imagine yourself catching one of them…
Remember me, The Fishing Guy, if you’re interested in booking a Daytona Beach charter.
